The Difference Between Landing Pages and Click Funnels
Recently I’ve had many clients who are struggling with Internet marketing because they don’t understand the difference between landing pages and click funnels. I’m going to make this short and sweet so you can understand. Landing pages are your website pages that lead to your sales capture page, also known as the capture form. The difference between a landing page and a click funnel is that a landing page has one purpose and that is to get your visitor to take an action.
Click funnel on the other hand has 2 purposes.
It has an objective of getting you to sign up for their list, which you can then market to later with multiple campaigns. So the difference between landing pages and click funnels is that a landing page is a page that gets your visitor to take an action (clicking the link to buy) and it has the objective of collecting your visitor’s email address for future marketing campaigns. You’ll note that they are not the same thing. Also, you will note that a landing page will have a title and a description, while a click funnel will not.
In addition to the differences in the objective of each page,
you will also note that some landing pages will get more visitors than others. Now keep in mind that when we say ‘getting more traffic’ we’re talking about overall impressions. For instance, on a landing page that is about weight loss, you would want to see traffic from all across the web. That’s just the way the world works. The difference between landing pages and click funnels is that a landing page will actually convert better and drive more traffic to your website.
The difference between landing pages and click funnels
might seem like a small detail, but it is a crucial one. You might be getting loads of traffic to your site and you might even be getting conversions. However, conversion is completely different than an impression. Conversion is when your visitor completes a sales cycle on your site.
When you are building your online business,
there are going to be times when you encounter a problem. Perhaps you were not getting enough hits or your PPC wasn’t working. This might be the time to implement a landing page or a click-and-buy landing page. This is the difference between landing pages and click funnels.
If you’re already building your website,
no doubt you have heard about landing pages. I’m here to tell you that you have to be careful when implementing them. There are certain things that you need to keep in mind to make sure that your landing pages are effective. To make sure that your landing pages are effective, you are going to want to consider two things: your keywords and your landing page. If you take the time to implement your landing pages appropriately, you will be able to attract traffic that is going to convert into paying customers.
