They do have to deal with clients who have various levels of fitness and physical abilities. If you ask any trainer about traits and character traits they will tell you that they have to be patient, caring, have a sense of humor, and are willing to help others achieve their fitness goals. However, not all trainers have these traits, and not all trainers can help everyone at all times. If you want to get the most out of your training sessions, you need to know the traits of a good trainer.

While patience is key to being a good personal trainer, you also need to be able to push your client outside their comfort zone. If you are pushing too hard or pushing your client too far, they may get hurt or they might quit.
